- The Turkish way: medium-dark
- The Greek way: light-medium
Type of Ground
Turkish coffee is an extremely finely ground coffee. It is usually ground to 45,000 particles. Compare this to:
- drip coffee = 100 particles
- espresso = 3,000 particles
Most Popular Brands
In Turkey, the most popular brand of Turkish coffee is Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendisi. In Greece, on the other hand, the most popular brand is Loumidis.
