Types of Slow Cookers
Slow cookers vary in style and type. First I would like to examine the different types I consider common.
- Instant Pot Style
- Classic Style
- Automatic Style
Instant Pot Style
Some devices have a slow cooking function. Some of these are instant pot style devices. The slow cooking option and process for these tends to be less proficient in terms of quality. The reasoning for this appears to be the fact that they tend to not focus on slow cooking as their best use.
Classic slow cookers tend to have no functions besides HIGH, LOW, and WARM. These settings need to be turned on by the user.
These slow cookers are my personal favorites. They allow a user to allow the slow cooker to switch on the WARM setting on its own. This lets a person spend their time not worrying about the time that the food needs to be removed from the slow cooker.
